Slim Chickens Bridgend is recruiting Back of House Team Members to join our kitchen team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You’ll prepare and cook menu items to high standards, maintain cleanliness, and ensure safety and hygiene across all kitchen areas.

We value teamwork, reliability, and flexibility to cover shifts including weekends and bank holidays. No prior experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success at Slim Chickens.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking menu items to perfection, ensuring every dish meets high standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring freshness of ingredients.
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
• Handling kitchen equipment safely and reporting maintenance needs.
• Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment.
