Job Title: Back of House Manager – Events Venue

Location: London

My client is one of the UK’s leading conference and exhibitions centres, known for their vibrant culture and exceptional service. They are seeking a highly organised, dedicated, and experienced Back of House Manager to lead their team and ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily back of house operations for efficiency and high standards
  • Managing inventory, supply chains, and vendor relationships
  • Leading and motivating kitchen staff to ensure top performance
  • Handling goods receipt procedures
  • Conducting stock takes and managing orders in warehouse and kitchen
  • Supporting the Senior Logistics Manager with rental equipment orders for events
  • Ensuring cleanliness of wash-up areas in compliance with health & safety regulations

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience as a BOH Manager in events or hospitality sectors
  • Experience in high-volume, logistically challenging environments
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Calm, structured, resilient, and problem-solving skills
  • Forklift license is desirable but not essential
