Job summary

TP ICAP Group is seeking a Back-End Engineer in London to design, develop and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs for high-volume data environments. You will shape technical architecture and drive best practices in software engineering.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with .NET, distributed systems, CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, and a proven ability to balance rapid delivery with long-term maintainability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building latency-sensitive enterprise systems.
• Front-office trading applications experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of distributed, event-driven, cloud-native applications.
• Relational database design and optimization (MSSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver mission-critical, high-performance systems end-to-end.
• Collaborate with Architects, Principal Engineers and Trading SMEs to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Drive innovation through POCs and continuous improvement initiatives, and communicate progress clearly.
