Job summary

Wolviston Management Services Ltd in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees is looking for a Back End Developer to join the technology team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will help develop high-performance server-side applications and APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core MVC.

The role offers a competitive salary (£35,000 - £50,000 DOE) and the opportunity to work on large-scale, business-critical applications within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing applications with C# and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Experience using Azure DevOps and Git for version control and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of OOP and scalable design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise web applications using C# and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Design and implement robust back-end services and APIs.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Explore and implement new database and application technologies to improve performance.
• Design and maintain efficient database architectures.
• Produce clear technical documentation for systems and projects.
• Provide application support, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Contribute to customer-facing and internal business systems.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable and high-performing.
