Bright Horizons Enfield Hilly Fields Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Room Leader to guide a baby room team in a Victorian building in Enfield, London. You will mentor staff, promote safeguarding, and ensure high-quality early years education for every child.

The role requires a Full Time, Monday-Friday schedule and a Level 3+ Early Years qualification, strong EYFS knowledge, and excellent communication with parents and colleagues. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working within an Early Years setting – ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.

Salary – Starting from: £32,864.00 per annum (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location – Enfield, London

Hours- Full Time, Monday-Friday

We’re looking for a Room Leader to join our baby room within our Enfield Hilly Fields Nursery. Our nursery is based within a wonderful Victorian Grade 2 listed building in the Enfield Chase district of the London Borough of Enfield.

It is very well situated next to the picturesque Hillyfields Park and is close to Enfield town centre along with the surrounding areas. It has easy access to both the A10 and the M25 as well as local railway stations. The nursery is proudly rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
