Your World is currently looking to place a Band 7 OT with UK experience into a locum role in Ealing.

Based in a clinic in Acton, this position is ideal for an OT seeking a new challenge and career growth. It offers the opportunity to work alongside an experienced healthcare team.

Job Summary

To provide highly specialist occupational therapy as an expert clinical practitioner within the Brent Acute occupational therapy team.

To collaborate with various agencies and community providers supporting service users in recovery.

To manage a clinical caseload of service users with complex mental health needs, using evidence-based and recovery principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment.

To integrate evidence-based practices with personal recovery principles to support clients in discharge planning, aiming to improve quality of life and independence.

To provide operational management and clinical leadership to the occupational therapy service, overseeing therapy input at the Tamarind Centre with support from the Service Manager and Brent Head Occupational Therapist.

To work with the Trust Head Occupational Therapist, Borough Head Occupational Therapist, and other Lead OTs to develop and promote evidence-based OT within the acute service.
