This role requires excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills within a dynamic specialist rehabilitation service. To work as a specialist clinician to utilise, develop and enhance Occupational Therapy clinical and professional skills within the Service to deliver high standards of practice.

If yes, read on this could be the perfect opportunity for you! We have an exciting opportunity for a flexible, enthusiastic and committed Specialist Occupational Therapist to work in the Community Integrated Neurology and Stroke Service (CINSS) which is integral to Community Health Services.

The CINSS model of care involves transformation and partnership working across organisational and multi professional boundaries. The successful candidate will join a specialist multi-professional team comprising of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Neuropsychology, Neurology Rehabilitation Consultant and Generic Rehabilitation Technical Instructors, working closely with Speech and Language Therapy services.

The team provides patient centred, goal directed specialist neurological rehabilitation in community and outpatient settings. This post requires an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist who can work closely with existing Specialist Occupational Therapists, Specialist Physiotherapists and the wider multi disciplinary team.

You will need clinical skills and experience working in the field of neurology and/or stroke and experience working within the community setting would be desirable., The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to learning and delivering high-quality care across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
