Job Description:

Our client is an award-winning leader in infection prevention, clinical waste management, and surgical solutions for healthcare facilities worldwide. Due to their growth, they are seeking a Key Account Manager to strengthen their position in the Irish Market and UK Long Term Care Accounts by supporting distributors through strategic initiatives, cross-selling, and key account management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national business plan for Ireland, focusing on specific markets and product ranges by distributor to drive retention and growth, aligned with B2B and VCI strategies.
  • Segment accounts to provide targeted key account management, involving senior leadership and stakeholders as needed.
  • Achieve sales and margin objectives.
  • Collaborate with B2B colleagues and marketing to identify and develop new accounts and communicate crossover opportunities.
  • Meet individual KPIs.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customers, professionals, and stakeholders to grow the business with existing and new clients.
  • Utilize product knowledge and skills to communicate key messages and provide solutions-focused sales.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values consistently.
  • Work closely with Customer Services and UK Commercial teams for support.

Candidate criteria:

  • Management and experience in the Irish healthcare market are desirable.
  • B2B sales, key account management experience, or medical training within healthcare are required.
