Job Description:

Our client is an award-winning leader in infection prevention, clinical waste management, and surgical solutions to healthcare facilities across the globe. Due to their significant growth, they are looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen the position of the business in the Irish Market and UK Long Term Care Accounts by supporting distributors through strategic initiatives and cross-selling activities and day-to-day key account support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a national business plan for Ireland with clearly defined focus markets and product ranges by distributor to drive retention and growth, aligning with B2B and VCI strategic focuses.
  • Segment accounts to provide an elevated level of key account management to strategic accounts, involving senior leadership and stakeholders as needed.
  • Achieve sales & margin objectives.
  • Collaborate with B2B colleagues and marketing to identify and develop accounts beyond potential and communicate crossover opportunities.
  • Meet individual KPIs.
  • Establish and manage relationships with key customers, professionals, and internal and external stakeholders, aiming to grow the business with new and existing customers.
  • Apply specialist product knowledge and skills to ensure key messages are communicated effectively and provide solution-focused selling.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Demonstrate the company’s core values at all times.
  • Work closely with Customer Services and UK Commercial teams as key support departments.

Candidate requirements:

  • Management and experience in the Irish Healthcare Market are desirable.
  • B2B Sales, Key Account Management experience, or medical training within the healthcare industry.
