Job summary

JMC Aviation is recruiting for B1 Licensed Engineers to support a winter maintenance operation based in Prestwick, Scotland. The contract requires a UK CAA B1 licence and A321 NEO Pratt & Whitney experience, with 787 GEnx exposure preferred. Rotational 5 on/5 off pattern with 07:00–19:00 shifts.

Four positions available. The role is offered at £50.00 per hour Outside IR35. Start date is November 2026, with a contract through end February 2027.

Qualifications

• Current UK CAA B1 licence or equivalent.
• Experience on A321 NEO Pratt & Whitney engines.
• Relevant and recent aircraft maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance activities per approved data.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.
• Diagnose and rectify defects.
• Ensure maintenance complies with UK CAA requirements.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately.

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, JMC Aviation is currently recruiting for B1 Licensed Engineers to support a winter maintenance operation based in Prestwick, Scotland.

This is a fantastic contract opportunity for experienced B1 Licensed Engineers with relevant B787 GEnx and A321 NEO Pratt & Whitney experience, offering a competitive Outside IR35 rate and a rotational shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance data and procedures
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft
• Diagnose and rectify technical defects
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with UK CAA requirements
• Complete all relevant maintenance documentation accurately and efficiently
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance

Candidate Requirements

• Valid UK CAA B1 Licence
• A321 NEO Pratt & Whitney aircraft/engine experience
• Relevant and recent aircraft maintenance experience
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Ability to provide all required licence, recency and compliance documentation
