Job summary

JMC Aviation is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer with recency on B737 and A320 to support maintenance activities in a P145 environment. The role is based in St Athan, South Wales, with immediate start and a 5/5/4 shift pattern (7am–7pm).

Essential requirements include CAA B1 Licence (EASA preferred), B737 and A320 type ratings, and six months of recent logbook activity on relevant aircraft, plus the right to work in the UK. This is a contract position outside IR35.

• Logbooks showing 6 months recency in the last 2 years (on relevant aircraft)

Responsibilities

• Ensure all maintenance documentation and forms are fully completed for the team and reporting is timely.
• Perform maintenance activities to ensure actions are efficient and timely.
• Liaise with management regarding progress, manpower, critical path and third-party requirements.
• Maintain standard engineering practices, including task control, housekeeping and FOD prevention/rectification.

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a B1 Licensed Engineer who holds a CAA with recency on B737 and A320 (holding EASA as well as CAA is highly desirable) to support their maintenance activities within a P145 environment. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all maintenance documentation and relevant forms are fully completed, including that of the team members allocated to assist and that all required reporting is performed in a timely manner.
• Perform respective maintenance activities to ensure that all maintenance actions are performed efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Liaison with the management with regards to progress, manpower, critical path and third-party requirements.
• Maintain standard engineering practices such as task control, general husbandry, workplace cleanliness and FOD prevention/rectification measures.
