Job summary

Ryanair is seeking a Part-66 B1 Licensed Engineer to join our Edinburgh Airport team through AES. Based on a 2D2N or 4N rotation, you will work in partnership with our client to service and rectify issues on the 737 fleet and support AOG recovery.

You will lead safety-compliant maintenance, mentor apprentices, and integrate with the station team under the EDI Station Manager. Applicants must hold a B1 licence, 737-Max endorsement desirable, and have UK work rights.

Qualifications

• Must hold Part-66 B1 Licence and have unrestricted right to work in the UK.
• Boeing 737-Max type endorsement is desirable; relevant courses available.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
• Proficiency in IT tools with AMOS experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleet.
• AOG recovery and on-ground support as required.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment and adhere to procedures.
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for B1 Licensed Engineers to be based at Edinburgh Airport on 2D2N or 4N rotations working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties – The successful candidate will report to the EDI Station Manager and be responsible for:

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 Fleet.
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all company procedures, policies and regulations.
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Part-66 B1 License holder (Essential)
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable – Type Courses Available)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential)
• Good IT Literacy (Essential), with AMOS Experience (Desirable)
• All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential)
• EASA or UK CAA
• UK CAA Licences are accepted; however, the applicant must be able to demonstrate 5 Years Maintenance Experience and have completed, or able to complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
