Job summary

Ryanair is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer for Prestwick (Line Maintenance) to join AES in supporting Ryanair, Europe’s leading airline. The role requires line maintenance experience on Ryanair’s 737 fleet, working 2D2N rotations with potential shifts for the right candidate.

You will operate with minimal supervision in a fast-changing environment. Essential: Part-66 B1 license, 5 years maintenance experience, UK driving license, UK right to work.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good IT literacy and quick learner with maintenance IT systems.
• AMOs experience is desirable for defect rectification and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleets.
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment and adherence to procedures.
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.

Job Title – B1 LICENSED ENGINEER – PRESTWICK (Line Maintenance) AES (Aircraft Engineering Services Ltd) are inviting applications for B1 Licensed Engineers to be based at Prestwick Airport (Line Maintenance) on 2D2N (potentially other shifts coud be available for the right candidate) rotation working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with existing line maintenance experience, who will work without direct supervision and be able to demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Aircraft Line Maintenance experience (Essential). EASA or UK CAA

• Part-66 B1 License holder (Essential) Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable – Type Courses Available). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential). Good IT Literacy (Essential), with AMOS Experience (Desirable). All applicants must have unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
• UK CAA Licences are accepted; however, the applicant must be able to demonstrate 5 Years Maintenance Experience and have completed, or able to complete EASA Module 9 (Human Factors) & Module 10 (Aviation Legislation).
