B1 Licensed Engineer - BRS ( 17419 )
Description
Bristol| Full-time | On-Site
You enjoy solving problems at pace, taking ownership of your work and helping the wider team keep aircraft moving safely and on time.
Join easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team and use your licence where it has a direct impact on aircraft safety, reliability and the flying programme.
You’ll complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, rectify defects, certify work and supervise small teams when the operation requires it. Every shift brings practical challenges, clear responsibility and the chance to make a visible difference.
You’ll be part of easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team, working closely with Duty Engineers, Maintenance Supervisors and colleagues across the operation to deliver high standards of aircraft performance.
Our Orange Spirit is practical and people-focused: colleagues share information, support one another and take ownership of safe, reliable delivery.
You’ll carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification in line with approved maintenance documentation, company procedures and legislation.
You’ll record and certify completed work, inspect replacement parts and components, and make sure technical documentation is accurate, complete and ready for a safe handover.
You’ll prioritise work and resources, flag risks to the flying programme early, support aircraft departures and supervise others to maintain the right standards of workmanship, quality and tool use.
You’ll hold a UK Part 66 B1 licence and authorisation, or equivalent, on company aircraft, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant airworthiness legislation.
Ideally, you’ll bring at least three years’ operational experience in a line maintenance environment, along with practical aircraft knowledge and confident hand skills.
You’ll communicate issues clearly, work effectively both independently and with others, and stay flexible when deadlines or operational problems demand a change of plan. Working knowledge of health and safety legislation and confidence using IT systems are also important.
Safe, reliable engineering depends on people who bring different experiences, perspectives and ways of solving problems. We welcome candidates from every background who meet the role requirements and want to contribute to a supportive, high‑performing team.
At easyJet, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that reflects the diverse customers we serve across Europe. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds.
