Job summary

Jet2.com Limited in Belfast is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer to join the Belfast Airport line maintenance team. You'll perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certify work and release aircraft to service, contributing to on-time departures.

This role requires a UK CAA Part-66 B1 licence with experience on commercial aircraft, a full UK driving licence, and ideally type approvals on Boeing 737-800NG, 737-300, or Airbus A321.

Qualifications

• A UK CAA Part-66 B1 Licence with experience working on commercial aircraft.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ideally, current type approvals on Boeing 737-800NG, 737-300 and/or Airbus A321 CEO/NEO.
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices and fault-finding techniques.
• Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under pressure in an operational environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Meticulous approach to safety, compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Jet2.com aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Certify maintenance activities and release aircraft to service, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects efficiently, minimising disruption to the operation.
• Support aircraft turnarounds and respond to operational priorities in a dynamic airport environment.
• Collaborate closely with Engineers, Mechanics, Flight Crew and Operations teams to keep our aircraft moving safely and on time.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation and records are completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
• Promote a positive safety culture by maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, compliance and attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Belfast Engineering Team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability and on-time performance of our fleet. Working in a fast-paced line maintenance environment, you'll be trusted to make critical technical decisions and ensure our aircraft are ready for departure.
