Job summary

easyJet Gatwick is seeking a B2 Licensed Engineer to maintain our A320 and A320neo fleet on site. You will perform defect rectification, routine servicing and ensure safety and regulatory standards are met.

You must hold UK CAA Part-66 B2 licence with A320 rating; sponsorship is considered. This full-time role offers a 4-on, 4-off pattern, 10.75‑hour or 12‑hour shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including bonus and staff travel.

The opportunity

Join easyJet’s Engineering & Maintenance team at Gatwick and play a vital role in keeping customers moving and reducing delays across our A320 and A320neo fleet.

As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you’ll use your aircraft knowledge to deliver maintenance to industry‑leading safety and technical standards. The role is full‑time and onsite, working a 4‑on, 4‑off shift pattern across NNNN 10.75‑hour shifts or DDNN 12‑hour shifts.

The team & culture

You’ll be part of an 800‑strong Engineering & Maintenance team where people collaborate, stay approachable and have each other’s backs. You’ll work under the guidance of Duty Engineers or Aircraft Maintenance Supervisors, with ongoing development and training to support you.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll carry out defect rectification, routine servicing and maintenance activities across our A320 and A320neo fleet, using current tools and technology.

You’ll use approved aircraft maintenance documentation and computer‑based reporting and recording systems to complete work accurately and to the required standards.

You’ll respond to operational challenges with focus and flexibility, collaborating across the team to meet deadlines while maintaining safety and technical quality.

What we’re looking for

You must already hold a UK CAA Part‑66 B2 Licence with an A320 type rating. We’re open to applications from candidates who require sponsorship.

You’ll bring operational maintenance experience, strong technical knowledge of aircraft and the practical hand skills needed to complete the work safely and effectively.

You’ll be confident using maintenance documentation and digital reporting systems, with a working knowledge of health and safety legislation. You’ll also communicate well, contribute as part of a team and work effectively with colleagues at every level.
