Job summary

JMC Aviation in Saint Athan, South Wales, seeks a B1 Licensed Engineer with recency on B737 and A320 to support maintenance in a P145 environment. This is an onsite contract role with a 5/5/4 shift cycle (7am–7pm) and immediate start.

CAA B1 licence is required; EASA is advantageous. Applicants must have 6 months recency and the right to work in the UK. The role focuses on safety, compliance and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• CAA B1 Licence is required; EASA licence is highly desirable.
• A320 and B737 type ratings are essential.
• Logbooks showing at least 6 months recency in the last 2 years.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance documentation and team reporting are completed accurately.
• Perform maintenance activities efficiently and on schedule.
• Liaise with management on progress, manpower, critical path and third-party needs.
• Maintain standard engineering practices and FOD prevention.
