Job summary

STS Aviation Services is hiring a B1 Licensed Engineer at Manchester Airport, United Kingdom. The role involves base maintenance operations and certification within regulatory approvals, requiring strong technical knowledge and leadership.

You will work with Boeing 737 NG/MAX and Airbus A320 family aircraft, lead a team of aircraft mechanics, and ensure maintenance activities meet safety and customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK CAA Part 66 B1 license.
• Current CAA type certification on Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 737 MAX, or Airbus A320 family.
• Previous base maintenance experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of customer aircraft including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
• Certify maintenance within the scope of company approvals and regulatory requirements
• Provide leadership and supervision to aircraft mechanics and support staff
• Lead by example to maintain high standards of aircraft maintenance execution
• Ensure aircraft maintenance activities are completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction
• Support strong technical dispatch reliability and on time aircraft performance
