Job summary

STS Aviation Services in Manchester, United Kingdom, is seeking B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineers on a contract basis starting September 2026 to support the winter programme. You will lead maintenance activity, certify work, and ensure on-time performance on Boeing 737 MAX and Airbus A320 bases.

Candidates must hold UK CAA B2 licensing with current type certification on one or both aircraft, plus base maintenance experience and strong communication and leadership skills to direct teams at the

Qualifications

Part 66 CAA Licence, B2.
Current CAA Type Certification on Boeing 737 MAX or Airbus A320.
Previous base maintenance experience.
Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and be flexible to meet changing working requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Organisational skills.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer aircraft to include all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and certification of maintenance within the scope of company approvals.
Provide leadership and supervision of aircraft mechanics and support staff, leading the standards of maintenance execution by example.
Ensure aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner to the customer’s full satisfaction for on-time performance and technical dispatch reliability.
