Job summary

Avalon Aero Ltd. is seeking a B1 Licensed Engineer at Cranfield Airport. You will perform aircraft maintenance within Part-145 standards, oversee tasks, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role is based on-site, with opportunities for training and career development.

Key responsibilities include ensuring MOE-aligned work, maintaining licences, and supervising technicians to deliver airworthy aircraft on time and within budget. A robust benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (B1).
• Experience with BAe146/AVRO RJ, ATR-72 or Saab 340 types preferred.
• Completed an aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office and maintenance database systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure aviation maintenance tasks are within MOE scope and authorisations.
• Comply with UK CAA Part-145, approved data, procedures and standards.
• Plan, manage and supervise maintenance tasks to meet schedule and budget.
• Maintain regulatory approvals and training records; provide evidence within 24 hours.
