Volantes Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking skilled B1/B2 Licenced Aircraft Engineers to join a forward-thinking team at Bournemouth Airport. You will work on diverse maintenance tasks across fixed wing and rotary aircraft, with opportunities for type rating training and ongoing professional development.

The role requires a UK CAA Part 66 B1/B2 licence and a broad base maintenance background. You will collaborate with customers, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain current licences and

Qualifications

• UK CAA Part 66 Licence Category B1 or B2.
• Extensive aircraft base maintenance experience with a wide knowledge of servicing, inspection, repair and modifications.
• Satisfactory recency as required for issue of applicable certifying approval.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete all allocated, planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
• Act as supervising, certifying engineer to meet scheduled customer order requirements.
• Manage performance/quality of works in line with company processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and keep licences and type ratings current and valid.
• Provide professional communication with customers and contacts.
• Record timekeeping accurately in the applicable software system.
