Job summary

Owen Daniels in Oxford is seeking a B1.3 Engineer to join the engineering team on an Outside IR35 contract basis. The 7 on/7 off shift from 7:30 to 19:30 places you at the heart of on-site helicopter maintenance for a global aerospace manufacturer.

You will perform line maintenance at customer locations, travel regularly, and work with a company van. This role requires strong fault-finding skills on turbine rotorcraft and solid knowledge of UK aviation standards.

Qualifications

• B1.3 Licence with turbine rotorcraft experience.
• Ability to fault-find and troubleshoot independently.
• Knowledge of UK CAA Part 145, Part M and ANO requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and defect rectification on helicopters.
• Performing line maintenance at customer locations with travel and company van provided.
• Completing maintenance across airframe structures, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Certifying completed maintenance and supervising fitters as required.
• Supporting hangar operations and aircraft movements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and defect rectification on helicopters, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards
• Performing line maintenance at customer locations, with regular travel required and a company van provided
• Completing maintenance across airframe structures, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems, including component and avionic LRU replacement
• Certifying completed maintenance and supervising maintenance fitters where required
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the hangar, including aircraft movements and general housekeepingB1.3 Engineer

Essential Skills:

• Valid B1.3 Licence with experience working on turbine rotorcraft
• Strong knowledge of helicopter airframe and engine systems, with the ability to fault-find and troubleshoot independently
• Good understanding of UK CAA Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirementsDesirable:
