Owen Daniels in Oxford is seeking a skilled B1.3 Engineer to join a global aerospace and helicopter manufacturer. The role covers line maintenance, fault finding and defect rectification on turbine rotorcraft with travel to customer sites and a provided company van.

Oxford-based, outside IR35 contract for 6 months with a 7 on/7 off shift pattern (7:30–19:30). Strong aircraft maintenance background and UK regulatory knowledge are essential.

Formación

• Valid B1.3 Licence with turbine rotorcraft experience.
• Strong knowledge of helicopter airframe and engine systems; able to fault-find independently.
• Solid understanding of UK CAA Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and defect rectification on helicopters to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Performing line maintenance at customer locations, with travel and a company van provided.
• Complete maintenance across airframe, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems, including avionics LRU replacement.
• Certifying completed work and supervising maintenance fitters when required.
• Support hangar operations including aircraft movements and housekeeping.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and defect rectification on helicopters, ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest safety and quality standards
• Performing line maintenance at customer locations, with regular travel required and a company van provided
• Completing maintenance across airframe structures, powerplant, mechanical and electrical systems, including component and avionic LRU replacement
• Certifying completed maintenance and supervising maintenance fitters where required
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the hangar, including aircraft movements and general housekeeping

B1.3 Engineer

Essential Skills:

• Valid B1.3 Licence with experience working on turbine rotorcraft
• Strong knowledge of helicopter airframe and engine systems, with the ability to fault-find and troubleshoot independently
• Good understanding of UK CAA Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements

Desirable:

• Type ratings or experience on AS350, EC130, EC135/H135, EC145/H145 or H160
