Qualifications

• Advanced working knowledge of SQL Server.
• Experience in a large, mature schema.
• Experience becoming productive quickly.
• Background in legal or other regulated environment beneficial.
• Hands-on development and tuning on Azure SQL Database.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining T-SQL stored procedures.
• Providing troubleshooting support across a range of priorities.
• Investigating and resolving database performance issues.
• Working across several Azure SQL Database estates.
• Indexing strategy, query optimisation and locking and blocking.
• Reading and interpreting execution plans to identify and resolve performance plans.
