Job summary

Netcompany is seeking an Azure Solution Architect to translate business objectives into scalable, secure cloud solutions. You will own the technical architecture, drive Azure-focused designs, and oversee complex migration and infrastructure transformation programs across multiple teams.

The role requires demonstrable Azure architecture experience and hands-on design of IaaS/PaaS, networking, security, and identity services, with governance and client workshops at the core of delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior technical authority for Azure-focused projects and programmes, providing architectural direction and technical leadership.
• Lead client workshops to understand business requirements, identify technical challenges and develop appropriate Azure-based solutions.
• Design and implement Azure cloud architectures, covering IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, identity and infrastructure services.
• Produce end-to-end technical architecture and design documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and migration strategies.
• Define current and target-state architectures, develop cloud migration approaches and break down technical requirements into deliverable tasks for engineering teams.
• Lead cloud migration and infrastructure transformation activities, ensuring solutions meet performance, security, availability and scalability requirements.
• Design holistic service solutions that consider not only technology but also service support, operational management, maintenance and ongoing service delivery.
• Provide technical coordination across multiple engineering and delivery teams, ensuring clear ownership, responsibilities and alignment.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Senior Management and Service Acceptance teams to ensure architectural governance and compliance.
• Support the full project lifecycle, from initial discovery and architecture through implementation, transition and decommissioning.
• Work within different delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall, ensuring successful delivery against agreed timelines and quality standards.
