Job summary

prosource.it is seeking a Cloud and Platform Technical Specialist to lead Azure design, architecture and migration activities within a major transformation programme. The role involves hands-on deployment, governance adherence and collaboration with MSPs and delivery partners.

Location flexible between Aberdeen or London, with regular on-site attendance preferred. Salary £80,000–£100,000 DOE; permanent or contract considered. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Microsoft Azure experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones, governance and policy.
• Ability to review partner work and ensure alignment with target architecture.
• Experience with migration, automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong collaboration with MSPs, suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide Azure design and architecture capability for the migration programme.
• Oversee partner-led migrations and runbooks, ensuring alignment with standards.
• Define platform requirements and governance for Azure Landing Zones and RBAC.
• Quality‑audit IaC and automation (Terraform/Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Bridge internal teams and partners, ensuring knowledge transfer and smooth handover.
