Job summary

OLI is seeking a Platform Engineer in Cambridge, UK to help build, operate, automate, and support the cloud foundation for our next-generation platform.

You will work hands-on on Azure, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD, and containerized workloads, collaborating with senior engineers to scale reliability, security, and observability. This is a mid-level role with growth opportunities and ownership over time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud infra.
• Hands-on with Azure compute, networking, identity, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform.
• Able to write maintainable code in C#, Python, or TypeScript.
• Strong communication and collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure in Azure.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Develop internal tooling and reusable infrastructure modules.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and support containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Monitor health, investigate alerts, and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve observability with logging, metrics, dashboards.
• Contribute to runbooks and post-incident improvements.
• Follow security and SOC 2 controls across cloud environments.
• Document configurations, deployment procedures, and standards.
