Job summary

Zenith Group is seeking a Platform Engineer to build, operate, and continuously improve Azure cloud and platform capabilities. You will work within the Infrastructure and Platform Engineering team, delivering hands-on 3rd line support, automation, and cost-optimised cloud solutions.

The role focuses on securing, scaling, and modernising cloud platforms, collaborating with InfraOps, DevSecOps, and FinOps to drive best practices and compliance.

Qualifications

• Design, configure and maintain Azure hosting platforms.
• Deploy Azure infra using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Manage Kubernetes and containerisation in Azure.
• Build multistage YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Scripting in PowerShell and Bash for automation.
• Knowledge of Azure servers, networks, firewalls and app gateways.
• Minimum 2 years in 3rd line Infra/DevOps/Platform Eng.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate and improve Azure cloud and platform capabilities focusing on security, reliability and scalability.
• Provide 3rd line engineering support across cloud infrastructure, IT services and platform systems.
• Create self-service platform components for dev/tech teams.
• Automate tasks across the estate using scripts and IaC.
• Collaborate with InfraOps, DevSecOps and FinOps to enhance compliance and cost efficiency.
