Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is seeking a Lead Solution Architect (Microsoft Azure) in London on a hybrid model. You will provide technical leadership across Azure engagements, govern architectures, and guide delivery from design to handover.

The role is senior and client-facing, with a focus on security, scalability, and strategic cloud transformation. You will engage with senior stakeholders, support pre-sales activities, and mentor teams to drive best-practice in cloud governance and engineering across

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior/Lead Solution Architect delivering Microsoft/Azure solutions.
• Proven track record leading Azure migration, transformation and modernisation programmes.
• Strong expertise in Azure Infrastructure (IaaS), Networking, Entra/AD, governance and security.
• Experience designing Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions.
• Familiarity with Azure Landing Zones, Hub-and-Spoke, Virtual WAN, Private Endpoints.
• Experience with IaC and automation (PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture governance, technical assurance, and solution design across enterprise cloud transformation programmes.
• Act as Design Authority for Azure migration and infrastructure initiatives.
• Provide architectural leadership through discovery, design, deployment, and handover.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders via workshops and requirements gathering.
• Support pre-sales activities with solution design, estimates, and presentations.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure technical consistency and delivery excellence.
• Mentor teams to promote best practices in architecture, cloud engineering, automation, and governance.
