Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect in London to drive Microsoft and Azure engagements, provide technical leadership, and govern delivery across large cloud transformation programmes.

The role combines architecture governance, solution assurance, and pre-sales consultancy, with a strong client-facing leadership focus. Hybrid work in London is supported via 3 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior/Lead Solution Architect delivering Microsoft and Azure solutions.
• Proven Azure migration, transformation, and modernisation experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience owning solution delivery from design through to implementation.
• Consultancy or professional services background desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture governance, technical assurance, and solution design across enterprise cloud transformation programmes.
• Act as Design Authority for Azure migration, modernisation, and infrastructure transformation.
• Provide architectural leadership throughout the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through to deployment and operational handover.
• Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, running workshops, gathering requirements, and advising on technology strategy.
• Support business development and pre-sales activities, including solution design, estimates, technical responses, and customer presentations.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and architects to ensure technical consistency and delivery excellence.
• Mentor and develop technical teams, helping drive best practice across architecture, cloud engineering, automation, and governance.
