About the Role

As Assistant IT Manager, you’lllead a small internal support team while also delivering end-to-end ITservices across Windows Server, Azure, and Microsoft 365 platforms.From user support and system maintenance to cloud migrations andinfrastructure design, your role will be essential in driving our IToperations forward.

You'll support both internal teams and adiverse client base, working across office, remote, and on-siteenvironments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the internal IT team, encouraging growth,quality, and accountability.
• Deliver 1st to 3rd linetechnical support for users and clients.
• Own and manage cloudinfrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Planand execute cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and new clientonboarding.
• Administer Windows Server environments, ActiveDirectory, and enterprise networking.
• Ensure security bestpractices across systems, networks, and endpoints.
• Automaterepetitive tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audits orcompliance activities.
• Act as a senior escalation point forcomplex technical issues.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years ofIT support experience, with recent leadership or team oversight.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft365, and Windows Server.
• Familiarity with hybridinfrastructure, cloud provisioning, and tenant management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across desktops, networks,and cloud services.
• Confident working with firewalls, VPNs,and enterprise security solutions.
• Proficient in PowerShellscripting and automation techniques.
• Strong communication,organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure toInfrastructure-as-Code tools (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep).
• Experience with RMM and ITSM platforms.

Certifications:

• AZ-305 – AzureSolutions Architect Expert
• Other relevant Microsoft certifications welcome.
