Breedon Group plc, a leading construction materials company, seeks an Integration Engineer to design, develop and support Azure-based integration services connecting business applications and data platforms at Lockington site.

You will own delivery lifecycles for integrations, work with developers and stakeholders, apply API-led, event-driven patterns, ensure security and reliability, and contribute to a scalable, observable integration capability.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and supporting enterprise integrations in Azure.
• Hands-on with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus and Event Grid.
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, message-based).
• Proficient in C#, SQL, Python; comfortable with JSON and XML data formats.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to design robust error handling, monitoring and production support for integrations.
• Familiarity with ETL/middleware tools (Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Boomi, Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Knowledge of security, authentication, data protection and operations for enterprise integrations.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable integration workflows using Azure services.
• Build and manage secure APIs to enable reliable internal and external integrations.
• Implement event-driven and message-based integrations to support resilient architectures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions.
• Apply integration patterns, standards and reusable components to improve consistency.
• Own testing activities for data accuracy, behavior, security and performance.
• Utilise CI/CD and release practices to deploy components safely.
• Monitor services and respond to alerts as part of daily operations.
• Investigate incidents with structured debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Produce technical documentation covering interfaces, mappings and configurations.
