Job summary

Xpertis Talent is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a 3-month engagement in Manchester. You will maintain, optimize, and secure hybrid client infrastructures within an MSP, focusing on Azure, networking, and security to deliver high availability and reliable services.

Responsibilities include managing cloud and on-premise environments, implementing backup/recovery, performing vulnerability scanning with Nessus, and ensuring ITIL-aligned incident, change, and problem management

Qualifications

MSP/consultancy background required.
Hands-on Azure administration and identity management.
Deep knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, and security.

Responsibilities

Support, maintain, and upgrade client cloud and on-premises infrastructure with focus on Microsoft Azure.
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls, networking, and core routing/switching infrastructure.
Perform regular vulnerability scanning and risk management using Tenable Nessus.
Design, implement, and test backup & recovery systems to meet RTO/RPO targets.
Enforce cybersecurity best practices and manage network access across environments.
Manage multiple tenant requests and incidents per ITIL processes.
Act as escalation point for complex technical queries and projects.
