Job summary

Synchro in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to manage and optimize a cloud-first environment. You will work across Azure services, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and DevOps pipelines to drive automation and reliability.

The role requires strong scripting and IaC skills with Bicep/ARM, PowerShell, and automation. Hybrid work with two days in the office weekly, based in central Birmingham.

Qualifications

• Solid Azure infrastructure experience with cloud services.
• Experience with Entra ID, App Services, Storage and Backups.
• Proficient in PowerShell and automation.
• IaC experience with Bicep/ARM and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure infrastructure components and services.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot and optimize environments.
• Implement IaC and automation using Bicep/ARM with Azure DevOps.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and IIS.
