Job summary

DGH Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer in Birmingham.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence 2 days per week to manage Azure IAAS/PAAS, Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, and secure configurations across the cloud stack. You will build and maintain IaC using Terraform, automate workflows with Logic Apps and Azure Functions, and monitor performance, reliability, and security.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Azure IAAS/PAAS and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient with Terraform and IaC practices.
• Knowledge of Azure networking (VNets, VPN, peering) and security.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
• Familiarity with cloud security tools (Azure Security Center, Key Vault).

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line support across Azure services including IAAS/PAAS, Terraform, containers, and tenant management.
• Build, maintain and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Automate workflows using Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance, availability and reliability.
• Ensure security and compliance using Azure policies, roles and permissions.
• Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours P1 incidents.

• Provide 3rd line support across the breadth of Azure services including but not limited to; Azure IAAS, PAAS, Terraform, Containers, Subscription and Tenant management, Azure DevOps, Azure security.
• Build, maintain and Implement Infrastructure as a code using Terraform.
• Automate workflows and processes using Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance, availability and reliability issues.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met using Azure policies, roles and permissions.
• Work as part of an on-call rota for out of hours P1 major incidents.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience in Azure administration and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and features, such as Azure Management, Terraform.
• Containers, Private Endpoints, Azure networking (VNets, VPN, peering, private endpoints), Azure compute and storage services.
• Experience in using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or other tools for version control and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tools, such as Azure Security Center, or Azure Key Vault.
• Certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate (desirable).
