Job summary

Stott and May is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a DevOps Developer in Central London (Hybrid - 2-3 days in the office). You will bridge application development and live service operations, delivering small to medium-sized changes and supporting pipelines in Azure.

You will design, develop, test, deploy and maintain solutions, assisting with deployment pipelines, monitoring and incident investigation, while adopting AI-assisted tooling and best practices to ensure security and

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in software development using C# and .NET.
• Frontend basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript with Vue or React.
• Experience consuming or building RESTful APIs.
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Understanding of source control with Git and GitHub, including branches and pull requests.
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries; NoSQL awareness.
• Experience with automated testing and writing unit/integration tests.
• Awareness of security, accessibility, performance and observability principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Ability to diagnose issues using logs, traces, metrics and monitoring information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small to medium-sized application changes, enhancements, defects and improvements.
• Design, develop and maintain secure, performant web apps and services using .NET/C#.
• Work across the full SDLC from requirements to break-fix support.
• Integrate applications with services using REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Test, Architecture and Service teams.
