Job summary

RedTech Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a well‑established technology company delivering secure, scalable software in a highly regulated environment. You will support DevOps and infrastructure, driving automation, improving deployment processes, and ensuring reliability, security, and performance of critical systems.

Proven hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure is essential. The role is based in Leicestershire with hybrid working (minimum 2 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' commercial DevOps experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
• Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for secure software delivery.
• Administer and optimise Azure and on‑premise application environments.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging and alerting across critical systems.
• Embed security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Develop scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues and manage incidents per ITIL.
