Job summary

Civil Aviation Authority in Gatwick is seeking an Azure DevOps Cloud Engineer to join the Azure Platform Team. You will contribute to strategic cloud infrastructure platforms and drive continuous improvements across the product lifecycle.

The role requires expertise in Azure DevOps, Terraform, and IaC, with the ability to work with developers and testers to ensure infrastructure quality and secure, scalable deployments. Hybrid working with occasional in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Specialist knowledge of infrastructure development lifecycles in a complex environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and IaC/Terraform.
• Ability to design and implement cloud-based technologies including Azure, Office 365, networking, storage and security.

Responsibilities

• Build and support resources in cloud environments using IaC and Gitflow.
• Develop IaC modules and configuration scripts for Azure resources.
• Monitor, respond to alerts, and ensure infrastructure meets standards.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to meet quality standards.
