Job summary

NETbuilder is seeking a Senior Databricks Consultant to lead secure Azure Databricks platform designs and deployments for enterprise clients. You will guide delivery teams, stay hands-on, and ensure secure, resilient, and cost‑effective data platforms. Strong client communication is essential.

Role requires 5+ years in data/platform engineering, 2–3 years on Azure Databricks, and certification. Travel to client sites and some London/Brighton work are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data or platform engineering, with 2–3 years delivering Databricks in production on Azure.
• Proven ability to manage client demands and align solutions with business needs.
• Deep, hands-on Azure Databricks experience: Unity Catalog, private networking, keys and governance.
• Experience delivering governed platforms in security‑conscious enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and provision Azure Databricks platforms as code: workspaces, Unity Catalog, ADLS Gen2, networking and keys.
• Automate environment setup and deployments with Terraform and Declarative Automation Bundles.
• Design for secure, scalable operations as data sources grow.
