Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to own and deliver end-to-end data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will design, build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring governed data is available for reporting and analytics across the business.

Working with Data Engineers, BI Developers and stakeholders, you will translate requirements into scalable solutions while driving improvements to the data platform.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production-grade data engineering solutions.
• Strong Azure data platform expertise (Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics)
• Advanced SQL skills including data modelling and optimisation
• Experience using Python for data processing and automation
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD practices, and Agile delivery methods
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks
• Ability to manage priorities, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Designing and building end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines
• Developing scalable data models and optimised SQL transformations
• Monitoring and improving data quality, reliability, and performance
• Delivering technical data projects from concept to production
• Enhancing our Azure data platform using Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL
• Implementing data security and governance controls
• Collaborating with internal teams and third-party partners
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and data standards
