Job summary

Telent Technology Services Ltd in Warwick is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Core Engineering division. You will provide strategic technical leadership across IT, applications and business stakeholders to shape our technology roadmap and ensure architectural alignment with business goals.

You'll define standards, governance, and target-state architectures, drive cloud adoption with Azure, oversee data and security architectures, and guide major transformation programmes

Qualifications

• Experience as Enterprise Architect with cross-functional delivery across IT, applications and infrastructure.
• Ability to define standards, governance, and strategy for large transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, Zero Trust and data architecture principles.
• Proven track record in leading architecture reviews and setting technology roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with business strategy.
• Establish architecture standards, governance across infrastructure, applications, data, integration and security.
• Lead target-state architectures and transition plans for major transformation programmes.
• Assess current platforms and identify opportunities for standardisation and debt reduction.
• Provide technical leadership and assurance for complex projects and architecture reviews.
• Develop artefacts: capability maps, portfolios, reference architectures, roadmaps.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for innovation, resilience and efficiency.
• Define integration strategies and patterns for secure, scalable digital services.
• Oversee data architecture principles, quality, interoperability and governance.
• Drive cloud adoption and optimisation with Azure and modern platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technology strategies.
• Lifecycle management: platform rationalisation, obsolescence, risk mitigation.
• Produce business cases and investment recommendations based on risk and value.
