Job summary

McLaren Racing is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and operate Azure-based platforms and hybrid cloud environments. You will automate networks, identity, and platform services while enforcing security, governance and cost discipline.

You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC tooling and change governance, collaborating with multiple teams to accelerate delivery and protect production systems in a fast-paced, high‑performance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating secure, resilient cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, FinOps and ITIL processes.
• Proven hands-on Azure engineering across compute, networking, storage and platform services.
• Administration of Entra ID and Microsoft 365 in hybrid identity environments.
• Experience with IaC tooling and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build, automate and operate Azure landing zones, networks and platform services using IaC.
• Administer Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity with least-privilege controls.
• Own Azure DevOps and GitHub pipelines, automation and certificate provisioning.
• Deliver platform changes with risk assessments and operational documentation.
• Integrate cloud security tooling and monitor posture and vulnerabilities.
• Drive FinOps and cost visibility across the cloud estate.
• Provide third-line support, write SOPs and run-books to reduce key-person risk.
