Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to contribute to the Azure-based platform, handling build, operation, and continuous improvement. You’ll work on subscriptions, identity, networking, and deployment automation while adopting Infrastructure as Code and governance standards.

You’ll investigate incidents and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver platform roadmap items. Ideal candidates have familiarity with Azure, IaC, and Azure DevOps, plus foundational GCSEs in Maths/English

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade C/4 or higher.
• Interest in cloud engineering with Azure.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and governance practices.
• Ability to work in a team and document work clearly.
• Aim to achieve required GCSE level via a skills programme in year one.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to build, operation, and improvement of Azure platform.
• Work on core platform components: subscriptions, identity, networking, monitoring.
• Follow IaC and governance standards; support live environments.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver platform roadmap items.
