Job summary

Hollis, a leading independent real estate consultancy, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in our Nottingham IT Operations team. The role offers broad exposure across cloud infrastructure, automation, service desk support, and mobile device management, with a supportive environment that encourages experimentation and growth.

You will work with cutting‑edge tech, collaborate across internal teams and third parties, and help shape our cloud architectures and security posture while evolving

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud environments, ideally within professional services.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred.
• Experience with Intune deployment and mobile device management.
• Experience with Meraki Wireless and switching, Sophos XG Firewalls, Sophos Endpoint Protection, and Mimecast.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor cloud solutions for performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third parties to implement robust security measures.
• Develop automation scripts for efficient cloud resource management.
• Provide technical guidance on complex Azure infrastructure issues.
• Stay current with Azure services and assess their relevance to our business.
• Document and maintain cloud architectures and configurations.
• Manage backup and recovery processes in collaboration with the team.
• Conduct system installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Help define technical standards and support protocols.
• Assist the IT Service Desk with hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Take ownership of assigned technical projects.
• Support mobile device management and app deployment.
