Job summary

Harnham - Data and Analytics Recruitment is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The role focuses on owning Azure infrastructure, collaborating with cloud colleagues, and contributing to large-scale transformation projects.

The position offers hybrid work with one day in the office per week and a salary of £40,000–£50,000. You will design, deploy, and manage cloud resources, build CI/CD pipelines, and participate in architecture discussions to optimise costs and security.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience working within Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience deploying and supporting cloud infrastructure end-to-end.
• Knowledge of Azure services including compute, networking, storage, and identity management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance principles.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with consultants and programme teams across the business.
• Build and optimise Microsoft Azure environments.
• Support Azure DevOps and GitHub based deployment processes.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure design discussions.
• Advise on cloud hosting approaches and cost optimisation.
