Job summary

Leeds Building Society is seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and support Azure-based AI solutions in a regulated environment. You will develop production-ready AI use cases, build secure, scalable Azure services, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps while collaborating with security, risk, and data teams to embed AI into core business processes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and supporting Microsoft Azure solutions in regulated environments.
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment templates in Azure DevOps.
• Scripting expertise in Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar.
• Experience supporting live production platforms with monitoring and operational support.
• Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio.
• Understanding of security, risk, compliance, data governance, and responsible AI.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across levels.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support AI solutions using CoPilot, Foundry, and Studio.
• Develop AI use cases from PoC to production deployment.
• Build secure, scalable, and supportable Azure solutions.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation with Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, security, risk, and data teams to embed AI in business processes.
• Support pilot programmes and help transitions into long-term services.
• Monitor and maintain live AI services ensuring performance and reliability.
