We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a multidisciplinary AI delivery team responsible for designing, building and deploying AI-powered solutions within Microsoft Azure.

This role suits engineers with backgrounds in AI/Cloud/Software/Data/Platform who enjoy modern AI and cloud technologies.

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 (DOE) Location: Hybrid, London or Manchester

About the Role

We are partnering with a growing technology consultancy delivering innovative AI and cloud transformation programmes across a range of secure and enterprise environments.

We're seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a multidisciplinary AI delivery team responsible for designing, building and deploying AI-powered solutions within Microsoft Azure. This position would suit experienced engineers from backgrounds including AI Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Software Development, Data Engineering or Platform Engineering who enjoy working across modern AI and cloud technologies.

Working within Agile delivery teams, you'll help create intelligent applications, automation solutions, knowledge retrieval platforms and cloud-native services that deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Active and transferable UK SC Clearance.
• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with vector search, semantic retrieval or knowledge platforms.
• Experience developing AI assistants, agents or intelligent workflows.
• React and TypeScript development experience.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps and infrastructure automation.
• Experience working within secure, regulated or government environments.
