Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Canada is seeking an AZ/DZ Operator to support our liquids/organics team and provide exceptional service to clients.

You will safely operate and/or assist in operating various equipment to collect liquid and solid wastes. This role involves moving material between client sites, operating a tanker, completing pre/post trip inspections and paperwork, and adhering to MTO regulations as well as our Environmental and Health & Safety policies.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of driver/operator experience preferred.
  • Must possess an AZ/DZ license (minimum class D with air brake endorsement) and submit current abstracts, CVOR (no demerits).
  • Must obtain Nutrient Management Technician online course through University of Guelph.

Responsibilities

  • Operate motorized vehicles to move material between client sites.
  • Operate a tanker or demonstrate ability to operate one.
  • Complete pre/post trip inspections, manifests, log books, and other documents legibly to meet compliance.
  • Ensure equipment and systems are operated per GFL standards.
  • Adhere to MTO regulations and Health & Safety policies.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Willingness to obtain required licensing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

We are looking for an AZ/ DZ Operator out of the South Binbrook area to support the liquids/ organics team and provide exceptional service to our clients. The role will be responsible for safely operating and/or have the ability to operate various equipment to assist in the collection of various liquid and solid wastes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate motorized vehicles to move material between client sites.
  • Must be familiar and demonstrate the ability to operate a tanker.
  • Accurately complete numerous and various documents, including pre/post trip inspections, manifests, log books, VCRs, etc., in a legible manner to meet compliance requirements.
  • Ensure that all equipment and systems are operated as per GFL standards.
  • Knowledge of MTO regulations.
  • Drivers are required to adhere to all Environmental and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Knowledge of the Nutrient Management Regulation.
  • Willingness to obtain required licensing.
  • Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements
  • Three (3) years of driver/operator experience is preferred.
  • High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Must possess an AZ/DZ license (minimum class D license with air brake endorsement) and submit current abstracts, personal and CVOR (no demerits).
  • Must obtain a Nutrient Management Technician online course administered through the University of Guelph.
  • Must have solid written communication skills in order to complete required paperwork.
  • Must have good verbal communication skills to be able to interact with internal and external customers.
  • Prior experience operating heavy machinery typical within a mining environment, including farm in an agricultural environment is a definite asset. However, we are willing to train potential candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to exercise good judgment and think proactively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
