Job summary

Brio Digital is seeking two AWS DevOps Engineers to join our Leeds team on a 7-month contract with a day rate of £500 inside IR35. The role focuses on cloud-native infrastructure, automation, observability, and reliability within NHS/public sector projects.

You will deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS, implement IaC with Terraform, and ensure secure, compliant delivery. Successful candidates will have strong Kubernetes, Terraform, Grafana/Prometheus skills, plus Linux scripting and NHS

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and operating cloud-native infrastructure for healthcare/public sector.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Helm proficiency.
• Advanced AWS services and Terraform for IaC.
• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus for observability.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience delivering in NHS or healthcare public sector.

Responsibilities

Overview:

We’re looking for a couple skilled AWS DevOps Engineers with a strong background in cloud-native infrastructure and a proven track record delivering within NHS or wider public sector environments. This role will play a critical part in managing scalable, secure platforms with a focus on automation, observability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including Helm chart configuration and management.
• Build, automate, and maintain infrastructure onAWSusingTerraform.
• Set up and manage observability and monitoring tools, particularlyGrafanaandPrometheus.
• Administer and support Linux-based systems, writing automation and scripting tools (e.g., Bash, Python) as needed.
• Drive DevOps culture and best practices across development and operations teams.
• Work closely with NHS stakeholders and technical teams to ensure secure and compliant infrastructure delivery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working within the NHS or a healthcare-focused public sector organisation.
• Strong hands-on experience withKubernetesandHelm.
• Advanced knowledge ofAWSservices andTerraformfor IaC.
• Proven experience with observability tools such asGrafanaandPrometheus.
