Job summary

MAG is a leading UK airport operator and is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to protect and optimise its AWS cloud environment in a hybrid role based in Manchester. You will implement secure controls, align with PCI DSS, and work with engineering and risk teams to manage threats.

You will lead vulnerability management and IAM, support incident investigations, and help embed secure-by-design principles across the cloud estate. A degree in a relevant field and AWS knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent work experience.
• AWS certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of information risk concepts and security frameworks (NIST, PCI, ISO27001, MITRE, ITIL).

Responsibilities

• Protect and enhance MAG's AWS cloud environment with security controls aligned to industry best practices and PCI DSS.
• Identify and remediate security risks, strengthen cloud monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
• Lead cloud-focused vulnerability management and secure identity and access controls.
• Support incident investigations and maintain clear documentation to demonstrate compliance.
